The Masked Marvel is an American sitcom 1943, produced by Republic Pictures in 12 chapters. Was the thirty-first series of the Republic, and had a masked hero, Masked Marvel, with executive clothes and a mask, who fought against the Japanese saboteur Sakima and its spy organization. The hook of the story is that, in a reversal of the common argument of "masked villain", this time the hero is that it is masked, and the public does not know who the hero until the end; the audience is only transmitted to The Masked Marvel is part of a group of special investigators (the same plot feature had been used previously in the series of the Republic The Lone Ranger) .Masked Marvel is called by Warren Hamilton (Howard Hickman) and Martin Crane (William Forest) to investigate and end the sabotage Sakima (Johnny Arthur) .desconhecendo the partner Martin was an ally of the Japanese, Warren is then removed. Alice (Louise Currie), daughter of Warren, joins four actors in combating Sakima. In the last episode, "The Man Behind the Mask", two of the researchers, Frank and Jim, died, and the public remained Bob and Terry to decide who was the Masked. In the end, Bob Barton revealed to be the true Masquerade.

Foi o trigésimo primeiro seriado da Republic, e apresentava um herói mascarado, Masked Marvel, com roupas executivas e uma máscara, que lutava contra o sabotador japonês Sakima e sua organização de espionagem. O gancho da história é que, em uma inversão do argumento comum do "vilão mascarado", dessa vez o herói é que é mascarado, e o público não sabe quem é o herói até o final; à platéia, apenas é transmitido que The Masked Marvel faz parte de um grupo de investigadores especiais (o mesmo recurso de trama fora utilizado, anteriormente, no seriado da Republic The Lone Ranger ).Masked Marvel é convocado por Warren Hamilton (Howard Hickman) e Martin Crane (William Forest) para investigar e acabar com a sabotagem de Sakima (Johnny Arthur).desconhecendo que o sócio Martin era aliado dos japoneses, Warren logo é eliminado. Alice (Louise Currie), filha de Warren, une-se a 4 agentes na luta contra Sakima. Um dos integrantes do quarteto de heróis revela a Alice ser Masked Marvel, e retira a máscara, mas apenas a heroína o vê, o público não fica sabendo até o final quem é o herói. No último episódio, “The Man Behind the Mask”, dois dos investigadores, Frank e Jim, já haviam morrido, e ao público restavam Bob e Terry para decidir quem era o Masked. No final, Bob Barton revelava ser o verdadeiro Mascarado.
