What does baptism mean? Baptism is a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and the water is symbolic of how Jesus washes away our sins.

Watch a handful of the 682 baptisms that took place on Easter Sunday at Qwest Field while Pastor Tim Smith, Dustin Kensrue, and the band led worship for the over 17,500 people in the stands.

On April 24, 2011, Mars Hill Church gathered all eight of its Seattle-area churches together for one big Easter Celebration at Qwest Field. Pastor Mark Driscoll preached on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Farther south, Mars Hill Albuquerque had about 1,200 people at their four services and saw 42 people baptized.
