As a young Canadian doctor, I accept the challenge while refusing to participate in the questionable charity system. A lot of medical foundations do great work, but are heavily tied to the pharmaceutical industry. I encourage viewers to read more on dubious charities, such as the Bill & Melina Gates Foundation and the S. Komen Foundation (pink ribbon for breast cancer), and to do their research before donating to any organisation.
