Thank you to all who have taken the time to watch this video. Fun and laughter aside, ALS is an extremely serious issue and I'm extremely heartened by the buzz this challenge has generated. Yes, I agree that quite a lot of water has been wasted because of this challenge but the positive change it has effected is enough to make me want to do this.

I recently watched a video of a sufferer of ALS who has expressed his support for this challenge - he said that every challenge he has seen lifts his spirits and to know that (even just) one person has benefited from people pouring ice water over their heads warms my heart.

To the people I've nominated, here are the options you have in case you're unsure:

1. Reject my nomination and donate $100 to http://www.alsa.org/
(I urge everyone else reading this to donate too!)

or

2. Accept my nomination and complete the challenge within 24 hours (except you Tim! I forgot for a moment that you are still in army). I hope that you all will consider donating too
