The day was winding down and it was time for a couple and their three children to leave the beach. The father figure had been in the water playing with the toddler while the mother figure had stayed dry on shore, It didn't appear she had plans to get wet. I heard her calling to the older children that were out near the ropes. She wanted them to come in but they weren't moving toward shore. The she said, "You don't want to make me come get you" and I saw her take something from her pocket and hand to the man. I grabbed my camera and prepared to film what might happen next. I tried to follow her into the water, but forgot to remove for footwear and got stuck in the mud--thus the unsteady video. As they left the beach I heard her say, "We aren't coming back." I hope she meant that night instead of never again. Enjoy this clip. I had fun watching. It is totally unscripted.
