ANGEL DELIGHT BATH CHALLENGE

This was the first of many fundraising challenges I have set myself.

In June I will volunteer for RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT on a development programme in INDIA. This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most. Iâ€™ll be working alongside NATIONAL volunteers from India and the UK. ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. It also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

Restless Development is part of the government's International Citizen Service scheme and sends young people abroad to help with three key things;

- Getting young people involved in civic participation in their local areas.

- Helping young people adopt a productive livelihood which will lead to better employment opportunities.

- Raising awareness about sexual health and rights, including HIV.

I need to raise Â£800 for Restless Development.
Most importantly my fundraising does NOT go towards any flight, vaccination or placement costs ... it goes directly to the ICS programme! helping tackle inequality, poverty and giving young people a fair advantage. You can check out their amazing work here;

It doesnt stop there, once I return I take part in 'Action at Home' raising awareness of Restless Development at home aswell as raising awareness of an issue that needs improvement at home.
