I accept the Ice Bucket Challenge. And I chose to donate to the ALS Association in Ukraine.

People with ALS in Ukraine do not have access to qualified medical help, nor any support from the government. They only receive a disability status, which allows free access to public transportation, and receive a pension of less than 100$ a month. This bucket of ice is nothing compared to what they are going through.

I respect the research efforts of American ALS, but I am not sure how much (if any), they are going to spend providing care to ALS patients around the world. So I chose to make my own little contribution to the ALS Associating in Ukraine: http://als.kh.ua
